Have you seen that old jeep on the lot? You know, the one that is painted in faded black bedliner, makes the loudest noises, and is like 20 feet off the ground? Well that Jeep is Evan Lehane’s. “People hate the Jeep because they are jealous – hey my car may be loud, but who is having more fun?” Evan commented.

From garage starters to concert openers, the Montgomery Tree Band has been showing the Cincinnati area what Men of Moeller can accomplish.

The “Groovy men of Cincy who make music and love big trees” includes: Colin Dunaway ’20, Logan Martin ’20, Brent Patterson ’21, Von Huhn ’22. They are called Montgomery Tree.

Colin Dunaway came from Mr. Balbach’s choir, while Logan Martin, Brent Patterson and Von Huhn all participated in marching band together. You may recall Von Hugh as the vocalist from the half time shows in the Moeller football season of 2019. Von calls marching band the origin point of the formation of their band. He said, “We probably wouldn’t have known each other if we hadn’t been in marching band. However, us coming together as a band was a decision made outside of the Moeller band, and Montgomery Tree is not associated with the Moeller band.”
